I call this - stress colouring.
When I need a minute (or 45) to just sit still and find some peace, I put in my earbuds, turn on a podcast and colour until it's over. This picture is the result of a handful of podcast episodes, and so much learning.
I retain podcast information best when I am doing a mindless activity while I listen, usually that's folding laundry and cleaning the house - but these days with kiddos running around, I just need to sit still.
I always have my notebook nearby so I can jot down the important points, because it's not enough to listen to business and personal development podcasts - you have to implement what you have learned.

I know times are crazy. I know you have one million things to do. I know you're trying to work, and home school your kids and keep your house from looking like a tornado went through BUT you need to take some time for you! If you don't have a colouring book of your own, snag one from your kids - they will LOVE the pictures you colour. Chloe and I colour together during Ollie's naptime, and she loves it!
