Part 4/5: How to find dream clients on Instagram

Check out my 5 day live video series here

You made it to the fun part - marketing and social media! If you missed part 1-3 you can catch up here.

There are 3 things you need to know before implementing any sort of social media/online marketing strategy:

1. Who is your ideal client?

2. What is their biggest struggle/problem?

3. How do you and your business solve those problems?

Take some time to work through these concepts.

Find your ideal client

Once you know who your ideal client is you can go out and find them and leave your virtual business card in the form of a comment, DM or story reply.

Here are some ways to find your ideal clients:

Search hashtags - find people who fit the profile of your ideal clients and engage with them by liking 3-6 photos.

Leave a meaningful comment

Reply to a story

Save one of their posts so you can remember to show them love on a regular basis

Remember, you need to focus on building relationships - sales do not happen from one connection and conversation. The goal is to follow each other and engage on a regular basis = #instabestie

“Nobody supports you like a social media friend you have never met!”

Ensure your profile is optimized

When your ideal client lands on your profile they will know instantly that you are the person for them, who can solve their problems.

Think of your Instagram profile as your virtual storefront.

Make sure you have a profile photo of you, a headshot with a smile and direct eye contact is key for relationship building.

Name section - this section is searchable! Add your title beside your name.

Your Bio - make sure you have an I help statement and a call to action link.

Make sure the first 9 photos contain a good mix of your content categories so they get a good idea of what you are all about.

These are the basics, for more info and tips, let’s become Insta Besties, I have lots of highlights and IGTV videos you can go through to get all the tips.
