What if instead of complaining about all of the things we *have* to do, we get excited about all the things we *get* to do?
Just know that the things you have, the things you get to do and the things you complain about, are all things someone in this world is living without, and wishing they had.
The things I will never take for granted...
The roof over my head
The food on my table
The running water that flows endlessly
Just to name the basics.
When it comes to my children and my wonderful husband, I know how lucky I am to get to do life with them.
I love driving the kids to nursery school, even when they run circles around the car and need to be wrestled into their car seats. I love making food for them even though half of it ends up on the floor. I love folding their tiny clothes and putting away their laundry even when it seems never ending. I love making dinner for my family and I feel extra proud of myself when I have dinner on the table when everyone arrives home. I love being part of a parenting team with Louis even when I have to tell him exactly what I need him to do. Mother's instinct is real and we need to spell things out, even when they're second nature to us.
Every day I'm excited for what I get to do. Life isn't a grind, or a hustle or a hassle. It's the thing that gets us out of bed every morning.

Sure, life gets hard. Sometimes we need to vent, cry, yell, scream, and sit on the floor wondering how we're going to get through it - but those moments are just a blip in our beautiful life and we need to just let them be blips. Otherwise we'll miss the beauty in everything we *get* to do. Can you change your have to's to get to's?
