Want to know the fastest way to blow up your business?!
Nail your niche.
What the heck is a niche?!
I'm sure you have heard this word being thrown around in the online space. You have been hearing people say things like:
Nail your niche!
You have to niche down!
The riches are in the niches!
But you have probably been left wondering what EXACTLY a niche is, and why you need one, right?
Let me break this down for you:
A niche market is a segment of the larger market with a shared identity, needs, and preferences that make it unique.
Your ideal client is someone who finds the perfect solution to their problems or needs in the services or products that your company provides.
When you know who your ideal client is, the niche he/she falls into and the problem you solve, creating content that speaks directly to your ideal client becomes a breeze.
I'm sure you have filled out lots of ideal client profile worksheets that left you knowing your ideal client is Becky, who is a working mom of 3, who loves Target runs, chai lattes and Saturday morning pilates, but you're still wondering - what do I post to get Becky's attention?
We need to figure out the niche that Becky fits into and we'll go from there.
For example, Becky is a stay at home mom, who has an online business and she rocks the naptime hustle. Your niche - stay at home moms who work their online business during naptime.
Once you know your niche you want to make sure your social media posts add value.
Choose topics/categories that relate to your niche that are . . .
Educational
Inspirational
Relatable/Entertaining

These are the categories I post about:
EDUCATIONAL
1. Biz/Branding/Social Media Tips.
RELATABLE/ENTERTAINING
2. Mom life + life as as WFHM - my story, lessons I have learned, and funny things my kids do.
INSPIRATIONAL
3. Personal development - books, podcasts, mentors I admire.
